Bent Prongs

Bent prongs can result from various incidents, such as accidentally dropping a heavy object on your ring, catching the prongs on cloth, or having the ring slammed against an object. These scenarios may cause one or multiple prongs to become misshapen, pulled off the diamond, or broken entirely. If you notice any issues, promptly bring the ring to us for a professional assessment.

Missing Side Stones

If any of your side gemstones are missing, it's crucial to bring your jewelry to N. Fox Jewelers. We will assess why it occurred and provide you with the cost to replace it.

Bent Bottom Shank

If you notice a bent bottom shank, it may have occurred due to lifting heavy weights while wearing your ring, hitting something too hard, or engaging in strenuous work. If this happens, bring your ring to N. Fox Jewelers for assessment and repair

Ring Stuck on Your Finger

If your ring becomes stuck on your finger, seek assistance from N. Fox Jewelers. We will carefully cut a small section off using a ring cutter inserted between the bottom of the ring and your finger. Once cut, you can gently pull the ring apart and remove it over your knuckle. Afterward, inquire with our team about the cost of repairing the missing piece of metal.

Loose Side Stones

If you discover any loose side stones, bring them to our team to have the prongs or metal surrounding them tightened.

In-Store Jewelry Maintenance

To ensure thorough maintenance and catch any overlooked issues, bring your jewelry in for inspection every six months. This proactive step not only saves time and money but also prevents loose gemstones from falling out unnoticed.

For accurate ring resizing, we recommend visiting us for a precise measurement of your finger. We consider various factors, including the ring's size and shape, the intended finger for wearing, the individual's finger size and shape, hand temperature, and knuckle size and shape.

If you need to gauge someone's finger size, you can utilize the two options provided in our downloadable ring sizer guide. Please note that these are guides and estimates only. N. Fox Jewelers is not liable for any sizing discrepancies if measurements rely on the options in the attached PDF document.

Feel free to download and print the Ring Sizer (PDF document) for assistance.
